In a Surpising Act of Intelliegence

Yeah Intelligence, that intelligence. More like pressure and perhaps the Contracting Officer was corrected.

That spelling is shit by the way. "Surprising" and "Intelligence"

I don't think Equifax cares that much...$7.2 million is nothing when their annual revenue is $3.2 billion...7.2 million / 3.2 billion = 0.225% of their annual revenue.

Maybe it's not the money. Maybe it's having that database that's attractive to them?

I'm curious what the IRS backup plan is - some colleagues mentioned the reason equifax got the no-bid contract in the 1st place is they're the only company (biggest of the 3 reporting agencies) capable of handling the job. If that's the case, this announcement is just PR and they'll give them the contract anyway.

That's fucking hilarious, and of course complete bullshit.

The IRS said the day they renewed that it was only a holdover contract until they could groom a suitable replacement. The fact that anybody latched onto the original non-story is incredible but even voaters only seem to read headlines based on the comments here already.

In the early days of voat, it was rare to see a comment that hadn't read the actual article... these days I'm seeing more of that than well-read comments

Step 1: Read headline. Step 2: Post angry comment supporting headline. (Make sure to add nigger, cuck, faggot or a racial slur of your preference) Step 3: ? Step 4: CCP profit.

One way to look sort of competent is to look completely incompetent and then reverse course.

I guess Equifax missed the payoff date.

My equifax score is 60 less than my TransUnion...

Does that mean the trans are winning???
