Lol what? The attorney general is appointed, not elected, under what mechanism would he be receiving money from the alcohol and tobacco industry? This comment is retarded.
Jeff Sessions just honestly really doesn't like weed or the people who smoke it, which is no secret. No one has to pay him anything for him to go after that shit.

trump throws out the mexicans. then sessions wants to ban the american citizens from growing and selling marijuana. the DEA wants their monopoly back. the illegal drug market is a lucrative black market used to launder and exchange money by elites who are dodging taxes. it is dark money used for funding dark operations. stuff like this is how the deep state keeps its power.
You may be a pedophile, but you are 100% spot on here. This is part of the reason we need to dismantle the DEA and end the drug war. This would also cripple the CIA.

well you may be a heterosexual, but that probably doesn't have much to do with whether or not your logic is sound. just because you don't like who i am attracted to doesn't make me wrong when it comes to statements of logic. at the end of the day my attraction is my subjective opinion and opinions have no place in logic.
Sessions is in there to deal with illegal immigration and Bill's wife (which is essentially ignored). If he throws all of that aside for ass-backwards weed legislation, it's curtains for him.
I see him as the looming "worse than Trump"-character, ready to really punish leftists and regressives if they succeed in removing Trump. In that way, this is a fitting move (a move I hope stays a talking point, not reality). With that said, I only support him since I trust Trump knows what he is doing.
I tend to see it as 50 states have decriminalized pot and nothing is going to change it. It's not our fault the SCOTUS is bought and paid for and doesn't see it that way, but Freedom of Religion should just about cover everyone's cannabis needs. And as easy as it is for some "doctor" to diagnose you with some problem they want to pass some sort of prescription drug out for, it's easy enough to find some of the same symptoms pot will treat. And if pot is the safest treatment, or the safest chemical addition to your comprehensive treatment plan, most religious people would have to agree that's probably the route "God" would have them go.
Then looking at all the lives cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, etc., have taken, and everything else cannabis could be used for, but isn't, or isn't allowed. It's plain to see Life, Liberty, & the Pursuit of Happiness has been under attack by a draconian government for far too long. There is no moral or religious call to take cannabis away from people, some people might want to look into moderation and not being so stoned, but that's a personal call. Nobody was given the "right" to sit there and arbitrarily dictate to others.
50 states have most certainly not decriminalized. That is patently false. As is the contention that anyone on the SCOTUS is "bought and payed for." They have lifetime appointments, they have zero need to raise money for elections, so who would pay them and under what mechanism could they get away with accepting the money"? This whole thread is so full of retarded misinformation it is ridiculous.
Jeff Sessions has said numerous times that if people want legal weed congress needs to pass a law to make it so. Yell at your congressman if you want pot legalized there's already to pro pot pills that have been drafted
Honestly, I think Trump will drop him if he does something so stupid. The people have spoken on legalization. The issue is over and done with in those states. Weed is good for the economy, and I think as a businessman Trump sees that. He will not want to alienate parts of his base. He certainly won't go after medical users.
At this point, Jeff Sessions and the private prisons connection makes total sense. I really wish Trump would fire him and replace him with Trey Gowdy or someone like him. After the Russia Recusal betrayal, I don't know why he has kept him on.

This is not good. Governments don't have any business telling citizens what they can or can't put in their own bodies.

So bribes are impossible then? Blackmail? YOU are the retarded and unimaginative one here, guy.

I don't see how being appointed has anything to do with taking money or gifts from friends who may want you to do them a favor or two.

Good thing he likes alcohol, huh?

Then don't hang with the smokers and toke on a dubbi. Cocaine is the evangelical drug of choice.

This is one of the most unfounded scare tactics to get people to take it all on face value he's gonna bust legal pot. It works too.

No one who is "elite" needs to deal in illegal drugs to dodge taxes and launder money. That is laughably absurd.

I'd rather deal with illegal weed than illegals, so wouldn't turn me against Trump, but don't think legal weed will go away.

Nebraska has not decriminalized to my knowledge. It's far from 50 states, that's for sure.
