The employers who were illegally paying these immigrants were giving interviews instead of being arrested for their crimes. Hypocrisy much?

Yeah. They're the real criminals. If we didn't have people who employed illegal aliens then we wouldn't have an illegal alien problem.

I say arrest and deport both.

The much bigger problem is that we give welfare to illegals.

[–] Obeastiality 0 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago

We would definitely still have one. Illegals can send their kids for free education, shoplift shit to sell at flea markets or on ebay, and take advantage of food banks and other free programs.

part of the US money magnet, another is the war on drugs that makes the cartels and Pig Pharma rich.

Thing to point out to others who argue of it's horrendousness... "Wow! No shit! They guys were total fuckwads for taking advantage of illegals! So fucking wrong!"

Did that. Dude totally backtracked and went silent. AWESOME!

Except that the two "justice" systems we have normalized in the US really are horrendous. Just ask Leona "Only the little people pay taxes" Helmsley.

Yeah, they should be held accountable! These fuckers even have the decency to go on with interviews.

Ya, everyone should be held accountable since the employers should be considered as exploiting work force if they knew they were hiring illegals because they could pay them under the table.

Especially since :

She said her husband came to the U.S. 12 years ago. They have a daughter and he started the immigration process two years ago.

I can see after a year or two (still disagree that it should be allowed at all, but...) to get your feet on the ground and get enough money for it (which is what green cards are for). Any more than that removes any excuse whatsoever, and it is a terrible excuse to begin with.

Don't worry about it Ivan. Taco Bell has many great authentic Mexican dishes for you and you'll never have to worry about them closing down because Mexicans aren't employed there.

I believe there are a couple women in Oregon who went to quite a bit of trouble to learn to make authentic Mexican food. They should see about getting them.

I hope ICE agents were at least smart enough to order first.

Terrible as these illegals are it is important for us to keep in mind that the greedy employers who elect to hire illegals over citizens to save a buck, an act that has terrible consequences on our economy, should be held in even higher contempt.

Anyone willing toss their fellow citizen under the bus and willingly fuck over their nations economy needs to be punished appropriately.

Does anyone know of any employer who went to jail? The enhanced employer penalties Reagan negotiated for in 1965 have never been implemented. Take the Swift Meatpacking Raid in 2006. Biggest raid in history with 1300 arrested workers illegally "taking" jerbs from Muricans, right? Not one employer arrest. In a "market" economy, you know what you get when employers can profit without consequences? Let's ask the banksters who privatized their gains through bonuses but socialized their losses to taxpayers and we still left them driving our bus. EDIT: Did a search and found perhaps a dozen employers over the years nationwide sentenced to jail here's one example, but the jail is usually because of some aggravating issue like harboring, skimming wages off them, transporting, etc. NOT just hiring.

That's why Arizona has per head fines for the employer. If I remember right it was something like 10k an illegal employee if they were employed without convincing documents and without I-9

No way, they will just embezzle it or find another way to spend whatever you give them.

There needs to be some focus on hotels at the beach.

No. I meant at the beach(like Myrtle Beach) but I'm sure it is rampant at hotels in Lexington.
