This should be of huge interest to goats, because this domain could come under similar attack at any time. It's only our relatively small user base that has kept us off the radar.

I am very much convinced, that if Voat grew in number where the impact can no longer be ignored, this (((bullshit))) will fall on us. And it will be rinsed and repeated to take down other websites!

Voat needs to allow tor hidden service access to the site.

The site is not sustainable in its current form. There isn't robust enough technological protection against censorship, and socially the site is easily marginalized by the services it relies on to exist.

if Voat grew in number

Which will basically never happen; It's always the same 3 users posting Nazi memes and jerking off over their submissive wife fetish. Perriodically a wave of fags comes when a reddit hate sub gets banned, but then they leave because everyone here is an unpleasant cumdumpster.

I see only I2P of Freenet type of things as a credible alternative to the spread of political censorship on the "regular" internet. People must start migrating to the darknet. At least peeking into it. Anything else is bound to fail from the moment it is conceived.

Does that include the blockchain style internet like Zeronet?

In general I don't get why voat isn't leading the charge on something like that. I also would be interested in the whole "cpu cycles for cryptomining" instead of ads thing to support it.

@PuttItOut - is your username some sort of anti-smoking campaign?

Also, is there any hidden terms in Voat's domain registrar's TOS that would allow them to pull some bullshit like this?

PuttItOut is a golf reference to putting.

I can't answer the second part though. If you read this PuttItOut, can you copy/paste the TOS?

I always assumed it was a golf thing. Putt it out. Like you lost, but you still putt it out, finish the game, get a final score.

And Putt isn't suing Google and going on Tucker.

Dailystormer didn't go sue Google or go on Tucker. They made a fat joke about the antifa woman who had a heart attack after being bumped by the Dodge Charger in CV.
