They should be scared. The people of Michigan love Kid Rock.

And his speech was epic, he specifically said were one nation under God which should have pissed all mudfuckers off. He also eluded to ending handouts for leeches, he has every respectable Michigonions vote

He used God as a prop in his talk. Also, pretty unlikely he can end all the entitlement programs, but it made for a rousing speech!

I'm from Michigan and I hate his newer music, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't crank up the volume whenever I hear "I... am... AN AMERICAN BADASS!"

If this asshat Franken is a current Senator.

Kid Rock is overqualified.

Rock's sweaters aren't as nice as Franken's, though, you have to admit.

Yeah, but Kid was in a much better first role in a movie, so there's that.

I don't see how Kid Rock is somehow less qualified than any random member of the political class.

If the fucktards currently in the Senate are considered "qualified", I'd happily take some amateurs to mix shit up a little. Just like Trump.

Kid rock will easily win. There's no doubt my mind. Because once you get outside of Detroit it's all kid rock territory.

Trump win set globalism up to be knocked down and Rock will deliver the next blow

It's fucking great that we have to call in heroes like trump and kid rock. If our politicians weren't so shit we would laugh them out of the room. Instead we meme them into it.

Does Kid Rock have any statements about his political philosophy? Other than just wanting to run with an "R" next to his name?

Mr AnCap, rest easy, he is no Statist.

He does what a Senator should do, cares about his constituency and country.

Well, what "caring" is can be very misleading. Like I can "care" about poor people and promote a higher min wage but never see the reality that it results in lower total dollars earned by the very people I aim to help. Political philosophy is important. At least kid rock is probably all too familiar with the burdens of high taxes.

I haven't heard too much about his political philosophy, but the left is scared of Kid Rock because he is similar to Trump, in that he's familiar with how leftists control media and function, but has turned against them. That, and he understands media and is popular enough to evade the leftist media and reach people on his own without the MSM.

Mainstream Media belongs to liberals, they use it to shape public perception and steer voters in the direction they want. They've been losing grip, because people like Trump (and I'm assuming Kid Rock) can bypass the media and get their message directly to the people.

Which is why you'll notice a trend that anything that gets a message out to people that doesn't go through mainstream media is hated by liberals. Smaller news and media sites, voat, gab.ai, 8chan, Trump, Kid Rock, gamergate, etc. Every one liberals hate because they know it lets people view reality through something other than a leftist filter designed to shape people's opinions into approving of leftist ideals. And those groups are usually very hostile towards leftists, because they understand how leftists abuse their power in media to censor and manipulate events in their favor.

They are probably more scared that Trump has started a trend of right leaning individuals who have been betrayed by the media and other politicians who can bypass the media and speak directly to people. Their attempts to destroy Kid Rock will be an effort to try and stop more people like Kid Rock from coming up, bypassing the media, and growing massively popular.

But the thing is Trump has showed a lot of people things they didn't see before about the media, and emboldened them to speak out and do something about it. Which means that people who follow in his footsteps will have an easier time, specially because it's obvious the left doesn't have a viable means to counter it other than name calling, fake polls, and drama.

The enemy of my enemy, I get that. I'm just waiting to hear some more details on how he views govts role in society. I suppose time will tell what he has to say, I'm sure he intends to do right by his home state. The problem is, the worst outcome often arises from the best intentions.

They will paint kidrock as a clown, just like they did Trump.

I think he's a clown, but at the same time I'd rather it be him than some douchebag liberal. It's a sad state when Kid Rock is the best you can muster up for true conservative leadership.

I'd rather have him than Paul Ryan as speaker. Even if he were half retarded, as long as he tried to do something for the people he'd be better than a politician.

Can you imagine him replacing McConnel and leading the Senate! I'd never turn CSPAN off.
