I have personally noticed a real change in the last few months on social media and on the street. During the election I was wearing MAGA hat ( I live in Canada ) and sure enough it would trigger the usual suspects which is why I wore it and found it quite amusing.

Fast forward to a month ago and the MAGA hat would generate conversation with random strangers who would say things like "The media sure hates Trump" or "I wish we had Trump for our Prime Minister instead of that faggot Trudeau".

If people in Canada can see what is going on I am sure a lot more Americans are.

Eh, proxy wars, direct conflicts and internal strife are different to each other. Proxy wars are usually resource wars where you're trying to avoid direct conflict with a larger opponent. Direct conflicts occur when when the paradigm of proxy wars becomes destabilized either by the systemic failure of a larger player or the entry of a new big player onto the scene and everyone has to scratch out new territory and borders etc. Internal strife is usually the result of deliberate political and social destabilization by one faction of another.

What's happening is a version of internal strife, but on a global scale. A specific political ideology, communism, is trying to superimpose itself over the entire western hemisphere, without destroying the existing infrastructure through direct conflict.
