Summarizes things perfectly:

[7] Communism promised to be both morally and economically superior to capitalism, but every attempt became morally corrupt and an economic failure. As it became clear that the working class of the liberal democracies wasn't going to overthrow their "capitalist oppressors," the Marxist intellectuals transitioned from class warfare to gender and race politics. The core oppressor-oppressed dynamics remained, but now the oppressor is the "white, straight, cis-gendered patriarchy."

Isn't that a word-for-word quote of Jordan Peterson?

I read it and thought it was a very thoughtful attempt to save a company he clearly cares about. And while everyone's calling him racist, misogynist, etc. his intention is clearly to be inclusive of all groups, just not blindly. Oh well, once the guy gets his life ruined and called a racist wherever he goes, maybe he'll realize these people can't be reasoned with. I think he correctly identified the cause though. They've identified these are moral issues that can't be refuted by logic or science.

Honestly, I'm sick of people trying to plea to companies to change their culture. If you don't like it leave. If you're right and it's a horrible company culture the company will eventually fail because talented people will work someplace better. He's just spinning his wheels with these people and using valuable mental resources on trying to change something that won't change. I know it's probably hard for him to leave the Google teat since they provide you with everything you need and more, but you can't put a price on sanity.

And while everyone's calling him racist, misogynist, etc.

And playing exactly into the kind of authoritarian, shaming echo chamber the paper's author was concerned about.

Diversity and inclusion are a fundamental part of our values and the culture we continue to cultivate. We are unequivocal in our belief that diversity and inclusion are critical to our success as a company, and we’ll continue to stand for that and be committed to it for the long haul. As Ari Balogh said in his internal G+ post, "Building an open, inclusive environment is core to who we are, and the right thing to do. ‘Nuff said."

Bullshit. No diversity of thought, and they exclude more qualified people because of their sex and race.

I found that it advanced incorrect assumptions about gender. I’m not going to link to it here as it’s not a viewpoint that I or this company endorses, promotes or encourages.

The reply that the "VP of diversity" released confirmed everything that he was questioning in the original message. They are so blind that they don't even see themselves digging their own grave.

Take all the men (who aren't feminist faggots), start new corporation, presto, problem solved.

The only thing you can do. You can't negotiate with leftists.

Well, there is some other things you can do, but few are willing to do them at this point sadly.

How do you advertise you're about to take off. Company wide memo stating what you are for.

You get responses. Positive goes into the potential hire bin, negative goes into the blacklist bin.

You've just created an existential crisis in old company, and offer safe harbor in new company. Fairly smart if that was his intentions.

This is actually really well written. And even if I don't agree with every word, it is quite neutral. Despite all the feminist REEEEEing over it, I don't see any racism or sexism in it. He is absolutely right. Race and gender quotas must die

It's not a surprise it's well written since a bunch of diversity hires weren't writing it.

Hell yes. This (modified) quote shows their M.O.:

Authoritarian: we should discriminate oppress to correct for this oppression

Exactly, I don't remember reading him argue about race at all. Probably because he knew it wouldn't go anywhere

One of the few things I've spent 15 minutes reading from start to finish. This is even-handed and inviting of discussion. His error was treating his audience as mature adults.

This was the best gem:

Discriminating just to increase the representation of women in tech is as misguided and biased as mandating increases for women's representation in the homeless, work-related and violent deaths, prisons, and school dropouts.
