That's a pile of alarmist bullshit. Earthquake swarms alone do not indicate that there is any risk of eruption. There also needs to be other indications, such as surface deformation. These swarms are actually relieving the stress. Most of this article was cherry picked out of other publications but they left out all the qualifying information. Makes me think a lot less of zero hedge.

ZH are the queens of emphasizing and cherry-picking for drama purposes.

You are correct, a swarm by itself isn't an indication of a potential event. It needs to be coupled with other measurements such as deformation and temperature readings from the caldera. If its filling, it will get pretty effing hot before it blows.

But hey, ZH needs the ad revenue I guess. They usually have a "its gonna end any day now" post pretty regularly.

I like this dude, but what's with the leather jacket and no shirt. Makes me think I could do YouTube.

I like Styx too, his predictions have been freakishly accurate over the last year...

Anyone can do Youtube, more Voaters should IMO... So definitely go for it! I made an antifa videorecently and have another more in depth look at Antifa vid in the pipeline.

Sometimes he wears a shirt and no jacket. I think there's a pattern but I don't want to look it up because I want to figure it out myself.

On the bright side...If it opens up, we can try the globalist approach and see if filling it up with sand-niggers helps.

Unlikely that we'll run out of sand niggers but if we do there is always the regular niggers to top it off. Excellent idea.

I've read this article over and over again, I don't think eruption is eminent but it's worth noting that Yellowstone is very vital to our ecosystem, there have been increasing activities inside the Yellowstone recently, I think we should all be concerned about it

We just need to all work together and build a giant cork to stop the volcano from erupting, or better yet, a giant buttplug.

You're wrong. We shouldn't be concerned about it. There's absolutely nothing we can do about it. We ain't gonna live forever. Screw it.

More fear mongering. There is no point worrying about the super volcano blowing.

The real question is how can we blame volcanic eruptions on capitalism.

When that thing blows, the signs will be dramatic. Cubic kilometers of magma ejecting out of the ground requires some significant 'prep' work.

I've been hearing this stuff about a Yellowstone Supervolcano for the last 15 years or so, starting about when I was 15 years old myself. People act like it's definitely going to happen and it's definitely going to blow a huge chunk of the continent in half, but I'm skeptical.
I've heard too many people tell me about this or that happening, or that the end times are just a few years away, within their lifetime, oh yes, within their lifetime.
And then those people die of old age.

Try being born and growing up just a few miles away, it was an Endless barrage. This has been going on for at Least 50 years, and will continue going on for probably a thousand more years.

And yet you never hear about the Wasatch Fault, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wasatch_Fault

It's far more likely to occur in our lifetimes (but will only really impact those in a localized area too).
