No amount of benefit will justify cutting off part of an infant's body as a routine procedure.

Decision for parents not the State regarding male circumcision. (Debatable with science) The State for FGM (Undebatable with science)

More babies die during those procedures than will ever need it in their lifetime. I'm pretty sure there is no "benifit" of losing the most sensitive parts of your body that is worth risking your childs life over. Also your source comes from a litteral jew. What a coincidence.

New scientific evidence shows the health benefits of newborn male circumcision outweigh the risks of the procedure, but the benefits are not great enough to recommend routine circumcision for all newborn boys

This is why there is a distinct difference between FGM and circumcision. This why one is considered mutilation and the other is not.

Mutilation: Mutilation or maiming is an act of physical injury that degrades the appearance or function of any living body.
