You really don't even need to look anymore, sadly.
These communities could be better than this. They choose not to be, instead subscribing to a culture of persecution complex and collectivism. I feel that I'm exaggerating when i say that MLK and other civil-right's activists would be ashamed, if they could see the racism perpetuated today and whom is perpetuating it.

John Lewis was a civil rights leader and he doesn't seem too bothered by the state of race-relations in Georgia these days. Faux-Russian allegations are obviously much more salient to him... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Lewis_(civil_rights_leader)

Among the many statements that can be made about politicians pointing out they are civil rights leaders 50 years ago is one of the most pointless. I'm sure there are some who were honorable then and are honorable now. But when you look at people like Marion Barry, Jesse Jackson, John Lewis, it is hard to escape the sense they do not deserve any respect now regardless of their past.
