Here is a quick, but very entertaining video by the Internet Historian explaining the situation, just in case if you needed catching up on this fiasco.

He was arrested on suspicion of use of a firearm during a felony with an enhancement clause and assault with a non-firearm deadly weapon.

Apparently it's a clerical error:

A reference on Clanton’s arrest record to a firearms violation appears only due to a clerical error, according to authorities. It should be listed as a possible sentencing enhancement tied to the infliction of great bodily injury.

Maybe now he'll get to meet some real Nazis in the California penal system.

I think meeting some real Mestizos is more likely.

I hope he brings a blanket, the floor can be pretty hard on your knees.

Being on his knees is most likely his safe space, we are dealing with a cucklord here.

His face should be introduced to this floor.

It'll be alright he believes black lives matter so the black gangs should be cool with him joining.

The "background in ethics and critical thinking" part made me laugh. 😆

Coexist.

See how much easier it is without all that religious bullshit in the way?

Just FYI, "critical theory" is pretty much code for "cultural marxism." It has nothing to do with being critical.

"We are like dwarfs sitting on the shoulders of giants. We see more, and things that are more distant, than they did, not because our sight is superior or because we are taller than they, but because they raise us up, and by their great stature add to ours." John of Salisbury

The critical theory crowd are people who wallow in the luxury of being on the shoulders of giants, put on cleats, and start stomping their feet.

Wait, that piece of shit was still breathing free air? If convicted, every day he was living free instead of turning himself in should result in an additional year behind bars--punishment for his lack of basic human repentance. Hell, the only thing that kept the bike lock victim alive from what could've easily been a lethal attack was either dumb luck or the attacker's little manlet triceps being atrophied from his strict diet of gluten-free vegan food.

But a bike lock makes more of a "clant" than a "clapt" sound, so he has a built-in mnemonic!

I'd never heard of this paper, but according to NPR (Yes, yes, I know) they won a Pulitzer recently for reporting, so this might be the real deal. And at 200k bail he might just be sitting there for a while as the case starts up. Beautiful.

in California they have high bail amounts. Basically it would cost 20K to get him out on bond 20K that you don't get back

[–] ShittyAdvice 0 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago

$20k to pay a bail bondsman might be do-able considering the $1M+ house he lives in.

Owns or rents?

Cause in the Bay Area, just about every house is a $1M+ house.
