And if you notice such moves typically have a lot less traction.
Apparently not. If they can remove confederate monuments by citing racism, they can remove anything by citing racism.
If they ever try it should be resisted by force of necessary.
You sound like a progressive saying it's ok to punch ''Nazis'' for simply speaking. Honestly, this sentence is only funny though, since you are ok with SOME monuments being removed but not others? Is your opinion the end-all be-all? What about people who want confederate monuments? Should they have the right to resist by force? Smells of hypocrisy.
The Confederacy though has always been a bad cause. All the way back to the 1860s.
The Confederacy only existed for a handful of years and existed in spirit since the end of the Civil War. And THEY are the ones who are the most patriotic, ironically. More patriotic than the Yankees, or god forbid the North-Westerners, who want to push policies that are basically treasonous. But nah, southerners have just been the root of all American evil since the Civil War, right?

Defense of the Confederacy is most definitely not patriotic. Southern patriotism, such as it is, is found inasmuch as conservatism tracks more highly with pride in being American than liberalism does. Southerners are also overrepresented in the military. But then they were in the 1850s too. It didn't stop them from waging war against the United States just a few years later. Literally treason defined constitutionally.
So suffice it to say Southerners have a bit of cognitive dissonance on the issue of patriotism. Secessionist sentiment runs higher there than in the Northeast as well.
Mine is just one opinion of course just as yours is. But rebel apologists can get fucked for all I care if we're being completely frank.

Defense of Democrats is racist. Because, y'know, they were the supporters and party of the KKK. See how your logic is flawed? Things change after 150 years.
You obviously have some major issue with Southerners. I don't know what it is, but I can guarantee you that your perception of Southerners is wrong, as it sounds EXACTLY like the fucks in the PNW who never stepped outside of their precious three states yet magically know all about the South.
So suffice it to say Southerners have a bit of cognitive dissonance on the issue. Secessionist sentiment runs higher there than in the Northeast as well.
Hilarious coming from you. And no, most Southerners nowadays actually like the USA. The states with the highest secessionist sentiment are the PNW. Californians LITERALLY tried getting a secessionist bill put forth to be voted on by the population. Washington LITERALLY made memes, social media groups, and a majority of Seatltites openly declared that if California seceded, they'd secede too. Look up Cascadia.
The fact that you honestly think the South has the largest secessionist sentiment EVEN WHEN other states are actively and seriously considering seceding.. proves how fucking ignorant you are on the entirety of Southern culture and modern USA culture/politics.
But rebel apologists can get fucked for all I care if we're being completely frank.
Cool. Those KKK Democrats can get fucked for all I care if we're being completely frank.
