I don't believe this shit for a second. Liberal prosecutor and judge, just like with the BLM shooting in Minneapolis.

Even the charging documents has a witness stating they were trying to drag him into the crowd. Are you not allowed to defend yourself at protests any more?

That's what the 6th Amendment is best at; a speedy trial by jury.

These two are going to get sunk if a jury of their peers is drawn from the Berkley SJW rabble.

In court documents, prosecutors said the shooting “was not an impulsive act done in a moment of fear.”

Evidence in the charging papers “demonstrates that the defendants went to the event at the UW campus with the intent to provoke altercations with protesters who they knew would be at this controversial event,” wrote Senior Deputy Prosecutor Mary Barbosa.

“The defendants created a situation designed to allow Elizabeth Hokoana to shoot the victim in the middle of an extremely crowded event under the guise of defending her or her husband,” Barbosa wrote.

This prosecution has no merit.

1) Here we have two people who expect to have their 1st Amendment Right to see Milo speak violated by an angry anarchist-mob while the police stand down and do nothing. Marc and Elizabeth Hokoana are quite reasonable in their concern that they will have their rights violated.. We see their concern over losing their 1st Amendment rights proven again and again by the AntiFa black bloc actions to the point that we no longer need to guess what the outcome is:

Speakers prevented from speaking/Event Goers assaulted.

2) What do Americans do when they have their 1st Amendment Rights Violated? They arm themselves in preparation to fight back. It is really that simple.

Fighting back to protect your person and your rights is not a crime. The Criminals are the AnfiFa Protesters and the Law Enforcement Officers and hierarchy that, again and again, choose to not stand up and protect the rights of speakers and their audience.

The case will be won by Elizabeth Hokoana and her husband. This may occur on appeal to a court outside of this jurisdiction given the infiltration of Leftists Communists into the judiciary. But, at the end of this process, these two citizens will win.

The only question is whether AG Sessions is going to start investigations of mayors and city councils and police chiefs who are allowing ANARCHIST mobs to violate the rights of so many, many people. There has to be a day of reckoning.

Pro-Trump couple shot anti-trump rioter when rioter assaulted them.

I expect this to be hazy in court... remember though, that this is "you don't need rights" california. It would not surprise me if this ended in conviction, thereby exacerbating the tension, and forcing conservatives to start taking positions as snipers rather than brawling.

Sooner or later the problem of judges making up law from the bench will have to be solved. Hopefully Trump brings the hammer down soon. All politics aside, these corrupt communists in our government must be stopped - he can't be considered successful if they are still in our government at the end of his presidency.

So they went in prepared and looking for a fight and the Milo protestors were probably doing the same. Not sure where I stand on this one...

People say you can't go in looking for a fight so are we just supposed to let the protestors walk all over us and avoid anything they decide they want to shut down?

This is an interesting question that isn't getting enough attention in this topic. It's clear both sides were looking for a fight, and let's be honest, with how each Milo event was shaping up, violence has been either up or down before his events. You have to be a bit prepared to defend your way into see him speak.

The police completely and utterly failed to do their job to keep the violence down. As soon as the mass protesting and violence started, that's when you call in the big boys. I'm all for peacefully protesting. Rioting isn't a peaceful protest.

Glad to hear it.

Also:

and fans of the now-reviled Milo Yiannopoulos

I remain shocked by the effectiveness of the character assassination the left carried out on Milo.

You didn't know that the Central Character Assessment Board voted on classifying Milo as "now reviled?" There are procedures in place; it's official!
