They are not protestors. They are rioters. You have the right to protest. You do not have the right to burn and loot Starbucks.
Granted this is Obama's fault for letting it go on for the last 4+ years. These morons were just in the wrong place when the adults decided to start pressing charges.

Read the article. Even the police admit only a few were guilty of property damage, yet over 200 people were kettled, arrested, and charged with felonies.
All were guilty of being masked ... which is not mentioned in the article, but that's okay, right? not walking away when the rioting began, makes them accessories, like it or not.
Agree. And each did have every opportunity to walk away when the inevitable violence supposedly done by others broke out. In fact, not doing so encouraged it.
How the Government Is Turning Protesters Into Felons
'Fifteen paragraphs down, a mere mention was given to the mass arrest of the 200-plus anti-fascist protesters on Inauguration Day. '
'"It's crazy, a few windows got smashed," 23-year-old Olivia Alsip said, two months after her arrest on felony riot charges. '
' The fact that these arrestees now face felony riot charges went unmentioned by the Times—blanket charges, which carry a heft unheard of in the last decades of protest history. '
'When they heard about calls to protest Donald J. Trump's inauguration in D.C. on January 20th under the banner "Disrupt J20," they felt they had to be there. '
'Alsip only knew one other person at the protest march that day. '

Peaceful protesters don't become felons.

My thoughts as I was reading this, too. Masked 'badass' cowards, now crying children.

Because the government is never wrong?

Because if you throw a brick at a window or a cop then you should just shut the fuck up and face the reality. It makes you a criminal.
Just because you may be in a crowd it doesn't prevent you of acting like an adult and not like a nigger.

Why should they all be charged with felonies?
[–] mamwad [S] 2 points -2 points 0 points (+0|-2) ago
Read the article. There's no probable cause for most of the arrestees.
