I'd like to issue a call for these snow flake college students to drop out, since they insist upon attending a college with safe spaces.

They're like the mud. They demand everything changes to their likings for no other reason than feels.

Its actually fun to see the current batch of new grads. Ive heard horror stories of one guy denying a 105K job since it wasnt architect based(It was a qa position that offered 2 days WFH, and had a path to director), I've seen someone quit their job after two days due to long commute(1 hour each way), after the company made a better offer upon demand, I've seen one person simply not look for a job at all, using mommy as the go to funding source. If that's my competition, i should have no problem maintaining employment!!

Most of this doesn't seem too terrible to me.

one guy denying a 105K job since it wasnt architect based(It was a qa position that offered 2 days WFH, and had a path to director)

Maybe the guy wanted to be an architect? Pay is compensation for hating your job, you can take less pay for a job you like more. Designing architecture may be more rewarding for the individual than QA or "director"ing.

I've seen someone quit their job after two days due to long commute(1 hour each way)

I know well enough that, for me, 45 minute is my limit. If you haven't commuted, you might not think 1 hour was a big deal. It is likely that they received another job offer shortly after starting, and realized the 1 hour commute was no good.

I've seen one person simply not look for a job at all, using mommy as the go to funding source

Were they funding their own idea or business? Or do you mean, they just decided they'd rather not work? This one seems like the only "WTF!" one on the surface. But I suspect there would maybe some valid reasons...

I am finding that as my salary has increased, the demands on my time have too. I am at the point where I want to cut way back on all expenses, take a pay cut, and spend more time with my family. Hell I almost took a job paying about 35% my then-current job... but didn't because they wouldn't combine the vacation/sick days into one lump. It's not just about maximizing money.

Remind students the entire campus is a safe space, just like the rest of the United States.

If you refuse one citizen's rights in favor of another, that is not a safe space for either.

I had to give my school (DePaul) a super shitty response the last time they asked me for money because the president is stepping down due to SJW crying about letting Milo speak. I used to throw them a few bucks every year but once I saw they are caving I firmly let them know I would no longer be giving them any money, to stop asking me for money, my child would not be attending DePaul and I'm ashamed to let anyone know I am DePaul alumnus. I also contacted some the people I went to school with that I'm still in touch with an encouraged them to do the same. I chose a private Catholic school because I didn't want to be around the liberal jackasses found at lesser more liberal schools. I was able to escape that for the most part besides a couple chuckleheads in PoliSci classes. Nearly every one of my professors were neutral (most of them, CS major) or conservative (priests and such). I was there for 5 years (undergrad & 1 year of grad) and never once saw any sort of racism except all the ads & flyers for black student groups. It truly is a shame that a good school has let itself be controlled by these SJW asstards. Oh well, their loss I guess. There's plenty of other private Catholic schools out there that will take my money.

As a university professor, I’m not sure I have any support at all for safe space. I think that you as a student have to develop the skills to be successful in this world and that we need to provide you with the opportunity for discourse and debate and dialogue and academic inquiry, and I’m not sure that that is correlated with the notion of safe space as I’ve seen that.

Fuck yes.

Scary that the stodgy old profs and administration are the ones fighting for free speech.
