I don't think better. Obama had 8 years, 2 of which he had a majority and he could have passed roles to entrench privacy Rights online. Instead he did nothing and appointed Wheeler (who ended up being pretty good, but was a board member of Comcast for years).

Obama at least was a strong defender of net neutrality. Again, I have very little love for Democrats, but the Republicans seem to be hellbent on ruining the internet.

I don't disagree. I'm just saying Obama wasn't some protector of privacy either. Looks like if he could exploit something he would.
This isn't really a Democrat or republican issue imo, is a failure of government to protect against corporate interests dominating pretty much everything... From the internet to pipelines.

I don't recall Pres Obama as a strong defender of net neutrality, as he moved very slowly. Candidate Obama was a strong defender, but that guy disappeared after 2008.
