As a native Tennessean, I am happy seeing these jobs come to my home state.

Tennessee and Texas are reaping what Commifornia sows.

Tennessean here. Woohoo! We're in the news and it's not because of one of the 3 M's! (Music, Meth, Memphis).

Aren't Hardee's and Carl's the same company? The menus are different though :-( I miss the Carl's choices.

Only thing I've had from them was their Diablo burger. Was pretty good but could of used more jalapeño poppers.

We actually do, people entering the work force for the first time are finding slim pickings.

Corporate HQ is going to have better than minimum wage jobs.

Not only that, but manager jobs where the company prevents wage competition between stores, meaning you can't accept a higher-paying job from a different franchisee in the same company.

But, muh free market, regulation bad! Wage slavery good!

Nah. You'd see the politicians shit themselves if Mexicans said they were leaving.

And they're going to raise the gas tax yet again and pretend that they're going to spend the money on our crumbling third world roads and freeways.

Spoiler alert: They're not going to spend it on infrastructure.

It would be cheaper in the long run to move, but the upfront costs of buying/building a new office and relocating employees to another state would mean that company would end up with no profits that year, or more likely a decent loss. This would make shareholders unhappy, so things stay the same.

There was this one CJ's somewhere between San Diego and LA that we used to stop at all the time. I think it was near their headquarters because it always had different stuff they wear trying out. It's just there headquarters they are moving, making some of American great again.

I do believe it's the San Juan Capistrano exit on :-) I'd stop there or Denny's on the other side of the freeway. I always would confuse that exit with the Ortega one.

Oxnard has a Carl's but if end up in the Camarillo In-n-Out more often ;-)

Did you ever bother to drive down the street to the Mission? I've always thought about doing that but being so close to SD, I'd start driving again ....

I've pondered, if Calexit does go through, will there be any profit making corporations left.

Abandon ship. Everyone is leaving California. Too much diversity.
