This has previously been the subject of conspiracy theories

See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twenty-fifth_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution

Section 4. Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

Thereafter, when the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that no inability exists, he shall resume the powers and duties of his office unless the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive department or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit within four days to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue, assembling within forty-eight hours for that purpose if not in session. If the Congress, within twenty-one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or, if Congress is not in session, within twenty-one days after Congress is required to assemble, determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office

Note that this not define "is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office" An common sense reading would indicate some medical emergency. However, if politics gets involved, the VP could say "he's crazy, gone off his rocker"

The politics of this would be very very nasty.

Im a hoosier and have personally met mike pence multiple times. He always was a guest on a radio station i interned at when he was gov. That man is the most honest and genuinely good people i have ever met. I just can't see him scheming behind potus's back. The reason he got fucked about that RFRA bill is because he didnt want to turn his back on a bunch of nuns to appease a few fags and trannies. The man has real principles

your campaign was lazy as fuck compared to Trump.

Gotta disagree there. She tried really hard, even hired (or someone else paid for) CTR, etc.

There might have been substantial effort, but it was so stupidly run political scientists will use it as an example of how not to run a campaign for decades to come.

Clinton stated privately this month that she is quietly pushing for a Pence takeover. She stated that Pence is predictable hence defeatable.

Why edit out the last part of his tweet in the headline? It potentially makes a big difference in the meaning.

But the more they itch for that, the more insane they get, the more people remove themselves from their party. Even my gf, claims that she's a democrat but almost all points she has/talks about are straight conservative. Its hilarious how much the dems will brainwash people to act against their own thoughts

They need to learn them some history. We're following the exact footsteps that caused the Spanish civil war

The king left pretty much. A republic proclaimed itself the new government. Then they said they were going to institute all these reforms which alienated all of the right wingers. They were slow in instituting them so left wing communists and anarchists staged protests and strikes... To bitch about their own leftist government.

Unsurprisingly a right wing Catholic won the next election and leftists chimped out trying to revolt with communists and anarchists rallying workers to fight. Francisco Franco was sent in to put them down. The leftists all cried acting like it was so awful and wrong to put down their attempted revolt. The anarchists communists socialists and liberals all "unified" to form the popular front. A bunch of intellectuals and "artists" from around the world swooped in to join them.

Basically they start the violence, the military goes in and puts it down working on orders of the democratically elected government then they cried and acted like victims.

Next election the popular front won a narrow victory. They arrested the right wing politican who was in charge before the election. Then they tried to reorganize the army so it couldn't oppose them

A fascist killed a socialist police officer in retaliation the leftist government arrested a monarchist leader and shot him.

Leftists started ramping up the violence more and more in an attempt to silence right wing dissent.

The people in the country quickly saw shit was getting out of hand and asked to arm themselves. Government said no, but the people armed themselves anyway. It built up more and more until finally the right snapped and instigated a coup. Right wingers dont riot, they revolt and it takes much longer for them to go off but once they do it's a lot more intense than left wing chimp outs.

Right wingers (The Nationalists) of various groups had trump cards in the fact they had the military (spanish army of africa that was stationed in Morocco), and the fact they were able to unify to work together much better

The republicans (leftists) started off with most of the important cities but as the left is frequent to do they ate themselves. Descended into a bunch of commies, anarchists, and republicans all arguing over what best to go with. It caused a civil war within a civil war. The commies (a lot of jewish Bolsheviks) and anarchists disappeared up inside their own asses trying to push for their "utopia" style of governing, instead of actually focusing on working together to win the goddamn war.

The right had fascists, nationalists, monarchists, and traditionalists who are all very very different from one another but agreed to work together in unity because what would happen if the left won would destroy spain just like russia had been destroyed and how they tried to destroy germany in the sparticist uprising.

The Nationalists won and Francisco Franco was installed as a fascist dictator. He offered leniency to his former enemies if theyd give up but those who still opposed him were purged. After that long of a war they had very little patience for that. They focused on nationalism, traditionalism, Christianity, and Franco named a Spanish royal as his heir when he'd step down. Thereby he gave every right wing group what they wanted and ruled, for better or worse, for decades pissing off leftists royally.

After he died and the king was put back on the throne the king gave everything over to democracy... Blah blah blah spain is being overrun by foreign invaders and the faggoty leftist regions are the ones causing it again.

Moral of the story is left wingers should pick their battles. They really dont stand a chance if it comes to civil war

This makes a lot of sense. Trump is crushing it and Pence is this really calm dude who doesn't want to cause any big splashes. Of course she'd want a Pence executive, dude would bring the political discussion back to stupid inane topics where our politicians thrive, because it's safe and you only have to pretend to be angry.

Trump is killing it and this manchurian candidate just can't get over it.
