Trump is escalating with Iran for Isreal and Saudi Arabia. Same shit. Next time Iran is in the news for provoking remember that we were doing it first.
Iran proxies shoot in the direction of our boats, omg we need to do something about Iran. We send in ground troops and cruise missiles, we've only been nice, why are these Huthi attacking us?
Tell Saudi Arabia and Isreal to fight their own fucking wars. They have the money. They had spare money to spend on our politicians.

You seem to not grasp the big picture here. Both the Sunnis and the Shia want us enslaved and our civilization based on Freedom and the rule of SECULAR laws brought down. They want you either paying a special tax for not being Muslim or you converting to Islam.
And this has been the reality for 1400 years and counting.
So when you say "we were doing it first" then you really have it so very, very wrong.
These people of Islam have a political ideology that has no choice but to come after us when and if it has the means. That is our reality.

Then why are we helping the Sauds (Sunni) who export their Islam into our society much more prolifically and engage in more terrorism in our regions than do the Shia.
I'm not saying Shia Islam isn't dangerous. I'm saying by very objective measures Sunni Islam in the here and now is either more so or equally dangerous, yet our military gets misappropriated as if it's fighting terrorism to fight on the side of the people that are the more immediate danger. Somebody isn't being honest with us when that happens. And right now the buck would stop with Trump. Either things have to change or we have to assume he's one of the very people we fought to kick out. Different words same behavior shouldn't make us happy.

How fucked up is it that Israel and Saudi Arabia are on the same side in this?

When it comes to geopolitics there are only convergent and divergent interests
Like on a battle field, friendly fire aside, your "friends" are those shooting at the same stuff as you
The rest is literature, wishful thinking, and bread and circus for the masses

They are frequently on the same page on a lot of things... lest we forget who is their biggest ally and endorser.

They are fighting their own wars. They just don't have the people to fight the wars. They have the money for it. Israel
runsran us for years so we would do their bidding.[–] 8320042? 0 points 9 points 9 points (+9|-0) ago
Yemen is being attacked because it refuses to install a puppet of the Saudis.
[–] novictim 0 points 5 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago (edited ago)
There are supposedly THREE sides to this conflict:
1) Shia Houthis backed by Iran
2) Yemen's Sunni leadership allied to Saudi Arabia/Sunni Gulf State Coalition.
3) Sunni Islamic State/Al Qaeda fighting against the Houthi Rebels
...and then there is the USA backing the Sunnis? If this sounds an awful lot like the Obama White House dynamic with respect to Syria then you are sadly correct.
President Trump, the Houthis and the Saudis, the Shia and the Sunnis, are mortal enemies of the USA and the West/Freedom. Do whatever you can do to destroy all of these factions.

Rendering the region unstable as fuck is the best guarantee SA won't try to get away from US protection

When it comes to money, you know the saying, follow the money
You'll logically end up at the bank, and not just your local bank
There are banks that lend to banks you know
...
And then you have the top of the food chain

In a very real and tangible way, making profits by selling arms to these fuckers so that they can then do the job of killing each other is an excellent state of equilibrium, right?
It is a glass half full situation.. While my principled position is to isolate these barbarians and their ideology and let them kill and starve each other to death, I do find it hard to see this current state of affairs as being totally irresponsible.
Of course, I am assuming that Europe is a hair's breadth from removing kebab. We are just a few Jihad actions from that inevitability. If I am mistaken then so, too, is my current complacency over the funding of Arab wars and so, too, is my entire opinion on this ongoing fiasco.

Saudi Arabia needs to be nuked to hell and turned in to a desolete no man's land.
Glass the fuckers.
[–] GIF-lLL-S0NG ago (edited ago)
If only it were that simple, haven't they paid Pakistani scientists to come to Riyadh to build them their own?
[–] HonestTrouth ago
Glass them too.

And now you know why some people thought it was terrible how Trump used that poor dead soldier's wife.
[–] PotatoFarm ago
Welp, It's interesting how the escalation happened so quickly: from "selling arms" to direct involvement in a matter of 3 months (maybe less?).
In any case, Yemen is very likely going to end in a genocide. Perhaps, that's idea behind exposing the increased actions?
