A part of me says that this kind of hate is how the Nazi's came to power, but a part of me says that they are having their homeland destroyed and their culture destroyed by an external hostile force.

It's a real problem, in many countries.
The mainstream political parties have declared that expressing any reservations at all about mass third-world immigration is "crazy" and "racist".
Therefore the only way that a sensible person with reservations can express them is to make common cause with the people who really are crazy and racist. And that's not real good for anyone.

Yep, the FN in France which has been traditionally anti-gay and anti-Jew has been increasing its Jewish vote share and has the largest rainbow vote share of any party. That's because they know that Muslims are the greatest threat to them, and there's nobody else willing to stand up to them.

This is spot on.
Fortunately, the Left has overplayed the threat of being called a racist. My understanding is that the term is basically meaningless in Europe already and the US is maybe 5 years behind. Hopefully, that will allow calm, rational and sane discussions.
If calm, sane and rational discussions on race, culture and immigration don't start soon, I don't expect that the anti-immigrant movements will get smaller or more restrained.

It says a lot about the public education in the U.S. when the only time I've heard of Bratislava was in Eurotrip.

The truth is as always somewhere in between. Letting other people move in and fundamentally change your country till you don't feel at home there anymore simply isn't right, nobody wants to be colonized. On the other hand, people who come from other places and make an adequate effort to assimilate into the local culture shouldn't be persecuted and free to expand it in positive ways.

Muslims don't tend to assimilate in Europe though. I was in England a month or so back and it was astounding we were staying at very nice hotel and I went to take a walk and have a cigar after dark and the doorman stopped me and told me that it was too dangerous because of the neighborhood being all muslim. The women were in burqas and I do not care about your opinion a burqa is not British.

Don't confuse some backwards neo-nazis with real protesters. It is about racism and close-mindedness.
Slovakia has no risk of "islamization" as there is very low immigration rate due to the economic situation of the country compared to western europe.
The whole mess happened because Slovakia should take about 700 refugees as a solidarity measure inside the EU. Most countries accept much much more.

If they believe that their culture is too weak to deal with few thousand Bedouins what's the purpose of preserving it ?
[–] Spacehuman 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago
That's a good propaganda line. The circular logic is a bit too obvious, inserting weakness as their motivation and then circle back around, taking your assumption as a given and using it to arrive at a conclusion.
You'll take in some Idiots with that line of reasoning. Of course, the Slovaks would say it's not out of weakness. If I kick a man out of my house for not following my rules, it's not out of weakness, it's out of strength and respect for myself. I say they have the right to decide who 'enters their house' because it effect their lives and their future.
And since you disparage their culture (suggesting it is not worth preserving) , what is your cultural background. Does it warrant preserving any more or less?

They are acting like their culture is in danger although it survived centuries of foreign (Hungarian) occupation , if they see themselves as weaklings who am i to argue ?
Of course it is their right to turn them down but do you know how Greece treats illegals? they lock them in concentration camps to die of strange diseases and it won't be long till locals and tourists (some of the camps are on islands or close to areas even Slovaks visit) start getting sick and then you know plagues have no passports .
