NPR's tone is how the news should be. Calm, simple retelling of the facts. Like an airline pilot telling us about our cruising altitude and turbulence.

Edit: A lot of people seem to disagree with calm, simple facts. I'm guessing that I didn't do enough to explain that I don't like NPR itself, just the tone with which they speak. I want Bob Ross to be my news anchor, is what I'm trying to get at. No bias, just several shades of gray painting a beautiful picture.

When I was younger I worked for a hippy out in the middle of nowhere, and the only thing we could listen to while working was NPR. There was a 2 hour long segment on "how to grow perfect grass". Two fucking hours on growing grass with NPR delivery. I fucking hate NPR..
