I think he might be right. Has anyone quantified the benefit to the US of all the interventions? Certainly doesn't look as if they have benefited the regular Joe.

There isn't and averageJoe doesn't benefit . Neither does science or humanity.

Your average yearly US military budget is higher than the complete 50+ years of NASA budgets (including all manned moon landings). That military-industrial complex Eisenhower warned America about? Yea it's definitely a problem now.

I can't say I don't agree with Jack. He brings up good points.

Edit: after reading the article, his points are peppered with communist ideologies. He states that the USA should redistribute wealth away from the wealthy and to the working class. I can't say I don't agree with him, but still, it's a statement that goes against capitalism, and moreover, it simply wouldn't work.

Tell the relatives not to live there.

Zhejiang villagers not happy with new villas, might have something to do with troublesome giant electrical cables http://shanghaiist.com/2015/12/11/villas_with_giant_cables.php?utm_source=fark&utm_medium=website&utm_content=link

I wonder if it was the same contractors?
