Jim Crow laws were an admirable attempt at helping blacks in america, in that 'separate but equal' was almost prophetic at how multiculturalism would fail as it has. Now 50 years on black americans are the ones pushing for segregation and separate but equal. Sadly the southern white democrats who supported Jim Crow were forced to the republican party shortly after LBJ's 'great society' reforms and Nixons 'southern strategy'. Also, are you suggesting "civil rights/cultural marxism" were a good thing and are somehow upset that democrats are getting the credit?

striving for equality and a better america has never been the goal of the democratic party they don't deserve credit for anything that's perceived in a good way by the public because in most cases they didn't do it, were opposed to it, or just did it to win votes
