I doubt it, He aligned heavily with the "civil rights" movement which was of/for/by democrats, which today has been warped into "cultural marxism". He was given the Planned Parenthood’s Margaret Sanger Award at one point - stood with feminists, though he was anti-abortion. If he were alive today he'd likely be a republican, if not only because of their pro-life stance, though it's not certain because many black Christians find "cultural marxism" and "equality" to be bigger political draws than their pro-life and Christian values.

Civil Rights movement was by the Republicans not Democrats. Republicans even saved the slaves. Just FYI: you've been lied to, brainwashed.

On June 10, 1964, Democrats filibustered the Civil Rights Act.

The Democratic Party was started when the slave owners broke off from the Democratic-Republican Party (formed by Thomas Jefferson) and formed the Democratic Party. The entire civil war was basically Republicans (the North) vs Democrats (the south).

Democrats were pro-slavery.
