Can I just pause here and say how proud I am of all you goats, how you guys are for the second amendment but don't blindly support guns for everyone no matter how stupid they are, and that you guys support holding people accountable if they have guns and they fuck up and are stupid, bravo guys, bravo!

Thank you for the kind words, and I have to agree that it is great that the gun culture is shifting to be this vocal and public about basic firearms safety. I think ten, or perhaps even five years ago it wouldn't have been so easy to say those comments in public without somebody crying about gun control.

If that's gun control then I'm a bearded Dianne Feinstein, "warning shots" are reckless and idiotic. (if you're pulling the trigger it is lethal force, period, even when you're not trying to be lethal)

It depends on the circumstances. A warning shot into the ground is safe and can keep bandits from returning.

If your life is really in danger your shots should be center bodymass or head if the threat continues.

Rule 4 supersedes. If you do not know what is behind your target, you can reasonably aim for the legs, then finish them off on the ground. The people behind their center of mass/head will be grateful.
