Pimping children is still illegal as is soliciting prostitution, but being a child sex worker or sex slave is no longer a crime in itself. There's a debate to be had on prostitution more generally, but no matter what, child sex workers are victims, end of. They have no legal ability to consent. Anyone who has sex with them is committing a sex crime. The assumption should be that child sex workers are forced or coerced into it by legal adults, and that inherently makes them victims and not perpetrators.

This is a very good thing - it means a kidnapped 8-year-old sex slave won't go to the courts and get slammed with sex crimes for prostitution.
