An interesting read. He sounds eloquent and well-informed.

His point of view seems to pivot on his distrust for Trump, believing him to be a charlatan with less attachment to principals than deal-making. I find it interesting to note that Soros himself admits compromising principals for the sake of personal increase; thus being the very evil he accuses of Trump.

He has some poignant things to say about the dangers of globalism, while in the same breath he describes the crumbling of the EU as a bad thing for democracy (even when he speaks of the formation of the EU being a diminishing of national sovereignty).

His biases are showing. What he is saying in so many intelligent words is: Trump BAD! and Putin BAD! And wrapping those notions up in smart sauce. For an 86-year-old, he shouldn't be underestimated.
