Democrats argued the voter identification proposal would have a disproportionate effect on lower-income and minority voters, creating new barriers to participation for those who may struggle to obtain identification for various reasons.

I'm not American but isn't is piss easy to get a form of I.D. and don't you need it for practically everything?

OH you beat me on this one.

It's easy. Just traveling depending on where you are,is a pain. When I got mine, I had to take the bus, on the way home from work. I didn't have a car . Since my job was out side of town it took me three hours. The bus ride was an hour and a half to get there . Then the rest was an hour and a half to get it done at the community college.

Then had got home by bus in 45 minutes. Our bus system sucked back then. Got home late cleaned had a few beers then went to bed to get up for work. Luckily my husband had a car and we didn't have kids back then so I didn't have to take the bus in the morning.

Also I had to bring my bike because I had to ride it to the first bus stop home or I would have to take a later bus and get home waaaaaaaaay to late.

It sucked but I did it. We were low low income too. Thinking about taking the bus back then brings back memories. Did it for six years But I did it. Its over.

If every one listened to Democrats no one would achieve a damn thing.

Where I live voter ID has been a requirement since time immemorial. Everyone carries state ID just as a matter of course, it's not required or anything, just useful. I think the cheapest kind is €20 or €30, I regard it as a very basic intelligence/effort test for voting. If you can't fill out a form and follow basic instructions then I'm glad you don't have a say in who rules me.

I don't think there is a country where you can vote without proper ID, except for the USA.

The worst part about it is going to the festering shithole hell on earth that is the DMV. "Lower-income and minority voters" AKA people on welfare have plenty of time to deal with the bullshit at the DMV to obtain an ID.

But then you can't illegally vote dammit.

Way to go Michigan, voter suppression.

Probably worth mentioning that the very same voters being disenfranchised also have to have an ID to receive welfare, food stamps, WIC, SNAP, cash any government "gibs" check. Apply for a job ( a stretch on that one, none of them work) check in a hotel, open a bank account, rent a car, and a whole fucking host of things. Voting is a problem? No its not. Liberal mindset is.

Minorities are too stupid to manage to get ID.

  • Democrats.

Heh, maybe they realized how prevalent voter fraud is after seeing first hand the kind of vote fuckery that went on in Detroit's voting districts

Why the fuck wouldn't you check the ID of a potential voter when they show up at a booth? Are they seriously this mentally retarded?

That's just the tip of the iceberg, imagine if they put effort into verifying the absentee ballots.

Can Michigan be the real winner in this administration. I hope so, my whole family is from Western Michigan. This is a good state. Please God let them rise up from the death grip of the communists.

@derram only goes off on certain domains, if I remember right. There has been one guy archiving things with pictures from Kodomo no Jikan, though.
