nobody with a brain pushing a legit thing would plug themselves with the Forbes, Wired, CNet, International Business Times, and business insider logos.

it's a hyper slick site (minds.com) that talks about "launching your digital brand." this is not run by people who genuinely give a shit about privacy.

"...with support of Anonymous"? You mean the group of people that is, by definition, not any group of people? How does nobody/everybody back this?

Yeah... If a super private social network is what you're looking for, you'd have to go with diaspora. Not whatever type of grab Minds is. How do they pay for hosting? They have to have plans to sell something.

There's also Frisbee, a p2p social network meant to replace Reddit et al, which is, unfortunately, still in the works.

There is also ello a social network that promises you will not become a product.

I actually planned on setting up a Diaspora server at some point; definitely seems nice, but I'll have to read into what I can all do with it.

Anything with the "Anonymous" label reeks of SJW cancer these days. I honestly think we need something peer to peer similar to how bittorrent works.

Frisbee is a p2p social network. But it's still being built, so it's not available to use yet.

I'd trust them even less than facebook. At least I know what to expect from facebook and what they're all about, who the hell knows what the goal of this shit is. I don't believe for a second it's about anything so noble as the right to privacy.

The terms "privacy" and "social network" are antonyms.
