The reason the signatures may not match could be forgeries. But simply tossing out the vote because the signature doesn't match without trying to contact the person in question is ridiculous.

Mismatched signatures should be investigated, not ignored.

For my job, I constantly have to sign/initial documents. When I concentrate on my signature, it's quite elegant. When I've spent all day signing stuff in signing mode, it's an unintelligible clusterfuck of lines and loops. With that said, voting should be done in person. If we voted in person, with identification, and election day was a national holiday - this shit wouldn't be an issue.

In Europe election day is a sunday, so nobody has to wok, and everyone can go and vote. It is 100% done in person. You had to pre register a couple months in advance to a voting booth, and need to go and cast your vote at this exact voting booth.

They have a list of people that are supposed to come, and you need to sow your national ID to vote. You cannot vote anywhere else. If you do not go at that voting location, then you don't vote. If you don't have you ID, you don't vote. If your ID has some damage, you don't vote.

A team of volunteer of all parties sit down at the end of the day with all the ballots, and count them all. Two people count each ballot, to make sure nobody is cheating.

If you compared my signature even three years ago to the one I sign today, you'd notice a conspicuous difference. It's devolved significantly from when I first registered to vote; I'm quite certain the same can be said of many people(especially if they've developed neurological issues). That provision practically exists to be abused.

This. Had this happen a few elections ago. Finally told the county in a followup that my signature had changed. (The county sent a verification form to me twice). The first time to verify my signature and the second time to verify my verification signature. The second time is when I told them they needed to update.

As much as I type now, I can barely sign my name sometimes. There's no way it would match my sig years ago when I was writing and taking notes everyday.

Here's another good reason: https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2016/10/26/are-there-signs-of-a-voter-fraud-scheme-in-broward-county-florida-a-handful-of-mistakes-and-173000-solutions/

Broward county is fixing a "screw up" on the mail-in ballots so they can justify sending out another set of ballots. This could easily result in double-voting.

Hillary met personally in a closed-door meeting with the supervisor of elections in Broward county (Ft. Lauderdale, i.e. one of the most populated counties in the state). I think Scott, despite all the other bad things he is, is a staunch Republican that has hated dealing with Obama so wouldn't like to see another four years of that. That's besides the economical benefits Trump has brought to the state (while Hillary has done fuckall for us and will continue to do just that).

For a system that can't be rigged there sure seems to be a lot of potential moments to meddle ... dead voters-voting ... on-line ballets available only certain times of the day, governor playing postmaster, possible glitches in the technology being used just to name a few mentions of possible interference's being investigated.

... am I the insane one thinking that the system in place is capable of any sort of accurate accounting ?

Edit: Edit: Audit: Edit ... Wowsa !!

Maybe a thumb print instead of a signature should be the way to go... or would that be racist too?

Yeah but who is going to go buy a thumb pad so they can mail in their ballot?

As long as the ballots are coming from legal citizens that can be verified, they should be counted regardless of the party. To beat fucktards like Hillary supporters, the only way to beat them is to defeat them in a game they rigged not to lose.

People really should not vote early if they can help it.

Okay, so, execute him for treason. What's the issue here?
