Rock and Roll and Jazz are pretty cool. Not going to lie, hard to beat soul food. Style (that I don't really care for) that is emulated world over...

Might not be your cup of tea, but seems you might be seeing things a little, ahem, black and white?

I never disputed that. But, if you go ask Jimmy Page/Robert Plant, Mick Jagger/Keith Richards, Paul McCartney/John Lennon where they got their inspiration, it all started with classic blues and RnB. Does anyone dispute that 95% of what is considered "classic rock" from the 50s-70s came directly out of love for the original black pioneers? Do you consider it a problem that the rock you appreciate comes from white guys who idolized black musicians?

If you want to stay "pure" you can always bust out some skiffle records, eh? ;-)

Is that why you want black people around to sing dance and make food for you? How bout a little softshoe while they're at it?

No, but generally it's easier to connect with people over music and food. Common ground and such. And it worked.
