Its not apathy. It is exhaustion and hopelessness. The government keeps going for this shit over and over again. They have beaten us down like peasants.

Most people want safety and some sense security, even if what they are offered is only feel good security. The government, media and business give them that in spades. The problem is they are no longer trustworthy. Convincing people otherwise is a tough task. If you want to fix the problem fix the source.
