That's total bullshit, even. If you buy into it, you're basically saying, "we're ok with losing sight of clear, serious failings, because there may be even juicier ones underneath." And by then you're already sold on letting people get away with whatever the hell they want.

EDIT: to the downvoat-without-commenters - I don't know what the downvoats are for, but it sure comes across as "because we're totally cool with the stuff Hillary gets away with"

No no no, he's not saying that ok, we're all cool with the whole email scandal, no big whoop. It's more like, yes, okay, so there's an email scandal, yes, it's there. But, if you look deeper, you'll find out that the Clinton Foundation is wrought with so much more stuff that's illegal. It's not just a puny little email scandal server. It's so much more.

I understand that. But my point was that if you buy into that, you risk losing sight of the wrongdoing to begin with, so that once you uncover the wrongdoings associated with the Clinton Foundation, they'll be swept aside the same way the email scandal was swept aside. At any rate I don't see the justification for the downvoats.
