I'd hire a BYU graduate in a heartbeat.

$970 for a pass, but if you don't use it for free speech you can sell it back at the end of a semester for $6.49

Even if this change in stance was only due to financial concerns -- in light of SJW Mizzou's tanking applicants, for example -- it's a not-unimitgated good step in the right direction.

This is yet another issue being blown out of proportion 'round these parts. Two UNC staff members composed this list to help other faculty understand just what the heck people are talking about when they say 'microaggression.' I don't see ANY indication from the post that the school was planning to initiate a policy based on this. I do see that implication being forced on us by the coverage in the article.

yeah the headline doesn't match the article. this was a faculty forum post that never made it to the policy stage

The only thing "micro" is the pea brains of UNC administrators.

It seems like a lot of schools are pretty much openly hostile to straight white males and free speech insisting white students owe an apology for "past wrongdoings" or some shit. When my kids are old enough to attend school want to make sure I don't pay $25k/year to send them to some place where they are told they owe anyone an apology for being white.

Is there a list of these hostile liberal "safe spaces" we should avoid? I'm thinking avoiding liberal arts schools will help. If the school is openly hostile to white males I should probably I don't make the mistake of funding the school. How would I even go about checking this?

I refuse to send my kids to a school where they will be told they owe anyone an apology for whiteness.

Vet each univerisy on your tour, ask how well they accommodate/force diversity, how many safe spaces they have, how many policies they have for students. Give demerits for each accordingly. That is if if universities exist as we know them. Honestly send them to community/tech college for the first 2 years then transfer their credits at 1/3rd the price.

This is my plan for my kid, unless he gets some sort of scholarship (which I understand is basically like saying maybe a unicorn will fly out of my butt and shit skittles on my head). Associates at the local CC then online university for some sort of IT or programming degree.
