I'm stuck in limbo for a month waiting to get approved for my "purchasers ID card" here in NJ. I can't buy any firearm, let alone an AR until they send me my card. I hate NJ. I'm pretty concerned that they will have banned these things by the time they approve me.

For the record, I have no criminal history. No misdemeanors, felonies, barely any tickets...nothing. But I have to be treated like a criminal before they even let me purchase one. Actually, if I were a criminal, I would have obtained one through illegal channels by now.

I went through this awhile ago in NJ, I had to wait 2.5 months for a fipd card, I hope you at least put in for two or more pistol purchase permits at the same time.

I since moved to PA, and can buy firearms when I want. As well as being issued a CCW on the spot for $20, where when I went to apply in NJ I was laughed at by the bitch sitting behind bullet proof glass in the police station.

I put in for one pistol card since I wasn't really interested in buying one but I figured it would be good to have the option. I already own a couple and I plan to move out of this state in the next couple of years. I grew up in NJ, moved to SC where I purchased most of my firearms for a few years, and had to move back to NJ last year.

Do you know if you can buy a firearm in PA with an NJ purchaser ID card? I'd rather not have a butchered NJ compliant weapon.

Makes me glad I moved away from that part of the country.

I just walk in wait an hour and walk out with a new firearm. During that wait time I could look around, use the range or get shown how to safely operate my new purchase.

Neighbor Delaware just increased the wait time, regardless of the person purchasing the weapon.

All they are trying to do is demonize the AR-15. They tried the same thing in the 90's with the SKS.
