"Shall not be infringed."

So, um, yes, yes it does. What a witling.

"Shall not be infringed." Not "shall not be infringed unless there are more than x number of weapons."

So what she's getting at is still completely, and totally, wrong.

Specifically the 2nd Amendment was put in to provide merchant ships with canons to defend against pirate attack.

This!

Why aren't congressmen that introduce legislation to restrict the Constitution arrested for breach of "Oath of Office"?

How the Constitution works tops that, which is explained by the 10th amendment, not defined, federal government has no say, authority falls to the states. State Constitutions do the same, not defined, authority defaults to the individual.

Privateers owned ships with cannons.

They were protected under the 2nd Amendment within U.S.A. boundaries. In fact, the government hired them to help stop the slave trade that was out of control. Thousands of White Europeans were being abducted into slavery a few hundred years ago by the islamic raiders along the Barbary Coast.

...Ever listen to the first line in the Marine Corp Hymn?

Hate to say it, Whoopi, but the Constitution does not say how many guns anyone have or carry. Actually I don't hate to say it.

Technically, the Constitution proper says nothing about owning guns, that's in an amendment. But if we're going there... I've got a feeling that Whoopi may not like what happens to her.

Why do we care what some long-washed-up c-list "actress" has to say about the Constitution again?

All she's doing is trying to get attention so people will watch whatever tripe she's in next.

The constitution doesn't limit the number of guns a person can carry. Gravity does.

Depending on the guns, for the smallest possible value of "hundreds", they'd weigh, in aggregate, a quarter to a half ton.

Hah! Like those "Putin decided to send in Ivan" pictures, the guy would be pretty damn' threatening if he weren't draped in twenty rifles... or one rifle and 200 magazines.

It also doesn't say that the sky is blue, or that people need to eat food to survive.

I could probably carry a hundred derringers, provided I could fit enough holsters on my person... Edit- Two hundred, if I really pack them in there.
