The article didn't say 100K left without insurance (or at least, it said something else once you read it). A few companies have pulled or change their coverage offerings within the state. Market forces are driving supply and demand. The number is 92K, BTW, not 100K. I guess you cannot trust a media outlet to round correctly. Anyway, there's still plenty of time for anyone to stay insured for 2017. This article is full of disjointed quotes sprinkled into rather over the top editorial commentary. Many of the quotes don't even agree with the commentary to which they are juxtaposed.

Nah I think you're getting confused by the big words, is all. Here, lemme break it down fer ya:

  • This article doesn't agree with itself
  • This article does not use math well
  • Everybody still has lots of time to get insurance
