Dr. McHugh, who was psychiatrist-in-chief at Johns Hopkins Hospital for 26 years, the medical institute that had initially pioneered sex-change surgery – and later ceased the practice – stressed that the cultural meme, or idea that “one’s sex is fluid and a matter of choice” is extremely damaging, especially to young people.

The idea that one’s sexuality is a feeling and not a biological fact “is doing much damage to families, adolescents, and children and should be confronted as an opinion without biological foundation wherever it emerges,” said Dr. McHugh in his article, Transgenderism: A Pathogenic Meme.

This nails it.

While some individuals indeed suffer from some conditions that make their lives very difficult, they are a minority that as usual just want to be left alone and be (at least most of them). However, what we have seen lately is that this shit became another "gluten intolerance" fad, with the huge difference that this one will fuck up individuals for the rest of their lives. And as usual, young individuals will pay for their misguided parents... and all in the name of virtue signaling.

Eeyup. Every person I've met with actual gender dysphoria or bid or whatever you want to call it wanted to be left alone and did not advertise it, transitioning or not.

So in other words, those with actual problems, as well as everyone else, are being fucked over by special snowflake drama llamas and their horde of white knights?
