Nothing like an overly complicated piece of machinery running out of batteries when it is needed most. "Hold on mister burglar, I just need to plug this in for a bit."
Also parts wearing down from joseling and heat. Never mind the finger print reader. How long is an electronically controled firing pin inhibitor going to last after repeated trips to the firing range.
Or is the firing pin initiated electronically? Could it ever go off accidentally? That actually could have some positive effects on trigger quality but anything as expensive as an electronic gun didn't have that problem to begin with.
