I liked him in Lawless, as well as in Fury and Nymphomaniac.
And I do not get the hype behind Samuel Jackson. He has played some marvelous characters before, but people treat him as if every character he plays is good, including in that shitty Snakes on a Plane movie, which to me comes as the same kind of B-movie as Sharknado, Birdemic, The Room, etc., both in the movie itself and in the fans. "I like movie X ironically." Fuck off.
And I think it's ok for someone to like movie X ironically, but at least recognize the plot is horrible, the characters are badly written, the CGI is horrendous, and the actors are just utter shit because a) director doesn't know how to guide them, and b) the actors themselves don't really care how good a B-movie does at the box office.

All I could find was that he was hoping the shooters were white. Because since they are mudslimes, they get bad rep. All those terrorists attacks, rapes and beheadings are not helping their case, I'm telling you.
He's also voting for Shillary "so republicans can't win", not because he believes in her ideals, nono, that'd be stupid. He just doesn't like republicans.
Also, lol he held MLK Sr. hostage once, but that police brutality maan, that's bad.
But yeah I agree he plays the same in almost every movie. Pulp Fiction, for example, is overrated because of Jackson's character, that has been seen thousands of times before.

I don't understand that mindset either. Snakes on a Plane is definitely horrible and so was that more recent movie he did - Big Game. Was that thing straight to DVD? It was terrible. IMO a movie really has to reach a certain level of badness to even be enjoyable in a "let's watch this thing and MST3K it the whole way through" sort of way. In that sense I don't know if either of those movies qualifies, they're both lousy but not so poorly made that you can find a way to make them entertaining.

I forgot about Big Game! Apparently it released in American theaters but to put it in perspective, it didn't break even: $10 million budget, $7.5 @ box office. It is a Finnish movie though, so that explains it.
