The FNGT is our weekly guitar thread, except it's actually open to all musicians and all skill levels. It opens on Friday nights, at 20:00 Eastern. It stays open until the next one gets opened, but it tends to die down by Sunday afternoon - though some folks will often keep carrying on their discussions for a while longer.
As of late, @PuttItOut has been making the thread a global sticky. This has increased the level of participation and the increased participation seems to encourage more growth as people gain confidence and realize that they too are able to share their work with us. As such, we're quite grateful that Putt has pointed the spotlight on the thread and helped make more goats aware of it.
And, again, we like all instruments and all skill levels. It doesn't have to be guitar, nor do you have to be all that adept. We even appreciate electronic music. (We have low standards!)
We also love the folks that don't play but return frequently to listen and comment. We don't do it for compliments, we do it because we like to share. We're all musicians and music is better when it's shared. Best of all, you'll find a ton of skill levels and instruments in there. It's your chance to ask questions and ask for help.
We'd really like to see you there. We even enjoy the people that complain about our thread being stickied.
If you missed it yesterday, here's my band - live and direct from the board:

You can expect to hear things like that, plus many other tracks made for you by your peers. We do this every week. We work hard to do this. We hope you can appreciate it and we'd love to see you there in the thread.
See ya later!

I'm going to again post a 48 year old recording made on a cassette. Take a couple of Ibuprofen, before you click in the link later today.

I've got stronger meds, so it'll be fine!
I'm sure we will appreciate it.
