It was actually something high on my list of priorities when picking the places to consider. I ended up with an artesian well which has some neat benefits.

We have a pump house, but it doesn't normally pump. It normally doesn't do much more than regulate the pressure. There's normally enough water that it can push itself all the way up to the house. In the last part of summer, it may need some help. On the other end of the spectrum, the pressure is too high when the water table rises. If it weren't regulated, I'm told it'd screw my plumbing all up - maybe even blowing fixtures off.

A part of me wants to actually witness this, but it has blow off valves and stuff I don't actually understand because I'm not a plumber.

Though your comment made me think of Steve Miller again. "Come on darlin' put your pretty dress on, we're gonna go out tonight."

I need to learn to play a banjo.

Sounds like you need to load up a couple kayaks, go and visit Zyklon, and take a river trip.

That'd be awesome! 'Booger plays one, but I've never heard 'em play one.

I don't think I'm going to have time to get very far from home for a while. It'll be good to even get as far as NH for something other than work.

We do have a show this summer that's up in the White Mountains. We'll be playing at the ski lodge. (They do other stuff, when it's not a ski slope.) I'm hoping to parlay that into another job at the same facility. They have a bit of a festival and send people up on the chair lifts so that they can see the foliage.

That'd put the audience, more or less, right about our age. We'd get to pull out some real oldies and I'd love to expose the band to that.
