Star Wars stigma didn't just happen to him - for a long time after Natalie Portman couldn't get a job because directors became convinced she couldn't act. This was largely due to the extremely bad writing and directing of George Lucas who had convinced himself that he could do no wrong.

If you look at Jake Lloyd's filmography, after Star Wars he did a number of Star Wars-related videogame voiceover gigs, a movie you've probably never heard of, and then his career pretty much goes full stop. It's a good bet that Star Wars destroyed his career.

I duno, she was pretty good in Black Swan, V for Vendetta, The Professional, Hesher, and Zoolander. This notion that actors are either incredibly good or incredibly bad with no in between at all is dumb.
