I'm pretty sure Hitler didn't kill any jew personally(well,not that I heard of), but he manipulated people to do so.Manson manipulated other people to cause carnage so he could escape unharmed and begin it again in another place. That's why he was considered so dangerous. He wasn't your run-of-the-mill criminal.

Yeah but if you read any crime account story where a man and a woman are lovers and the man carries out the dirty work even though the woman is the mastermind, this point is always stressed to remove accountability from her actions.

Meanwhile, it's completely the opposite in Manson's case.

Well, the only case I know of something like this was the case of Suzane von Richthofen. I never saw one show sympathy for her. I don't know if you know anbout this case, since it was a double murder commited in Brazil.
