Wow, looks ... vague. What is it about? Why should I want to watch it? The trailer gives me no information, and no reason to want to see this movie. I see Sean Penn is in it -- that's a black mark against it as far as I'm concerned. Who are the other two headliners? Brad Pitt and some women I never heard of? Brad Pitt does good work, but I have no idea from this trailer what he is doing in this movie. All it is, is a series of pretty camera shots of the kind you can see in any soap commercial. Oh, by the way, "Tree of Life" -- Kabbalah, Jew, Jew, Jew, Jew.

The trailer is really better than the movie itself. If you've seen any other Terrence Malick movies they don't tend to have much of a plot or a script, it's mostly fly on the wall scenes of people mixed with shots of nature. As the title suggests, I think the trailer itself is a work of art. It evokes messages of God and family condensed into 2 minutes.
