Full disclosure: I'm posting this because the director screened it to me, with the stipulation that if I liked it, I'd talk about it. Well, here I am.
I'll say this- it wasn't a shining beacon of wonder and amazement. The plot moved rather slowly for its 80 min run time, and probably could've been condensed down to an hour or less. It was also rather confusing, with half the plot feeling really out of place until closer to the end.
Having said all that, I can honestly say that I enjoyed it. It had more of the feeling of the old black and white dramas both in story and in direction. The acting was pretty solid for an indie flick, and for all its weaknesses the plot was strong enough to stand on its own.
