13th Warrior. Best nap I've ever paid for.

Ha, I love the movie but I can see how those lilting nordic accents could sooth me to sleep.

I'm going to have to watch it again. I keep hearing good things from people about that movie.

Interstellar was so fucking boring. It was beautiful, and had a good sound track, but it fucking sucked.

NPCs will always tell you that a movie with a complicated plot is a good movie, because they want to appear smart. Interstellar fucking sucked, large parts of the plot didn't actually make sense, but because it involved complicated time travel elements everyone pretended to like it.

That being said, the cinematography was good and I liked the sound track.

Couldn't make it through. I think I got to the second gay soliloquy and said I'm out. People really like their drama heavy handed these days.

I fell asleep watching Gorillas in the Mist in the theater.

I tried to watch Black Panther twice, fell asleep both times. Guess I'm just a racist because it couldn't have been because the movie is a total turdburger.

The hero is literally invincible for 90% of the movie. That doesn’t create a lot of excitement most times. He was only vulnerable in one scene where he gives up his powers only because somebody explained the concept of the second act low point to the woke blacks in the writer’s room.

The only reason I was able to stay awake through the whole thing is because I was enjoying making fun of how embarrassingly stupid everything was.

I put on one of the following movies to help me sleep: The original Solaris (not the George Clooney turd), Stalker, Dark Star, Blade Runner, and Dune

Better than sleeping pills. And it's great to wake up to some of the classic scenes from these in the middle of the night.

Dark Star

it's great to wake up to some of the classic scenes from these in the middle of the night.

...or a good way to freak yourself the fuck out. Carpenter made some weird shit, man.

I'm still suprised Carpenter made this movie. It's super mellow and relaxing, but still good enough to keep you interested. Just a bunch of bored bearded men looking for something to keep themselves occupied with for the whole film, until they die hilariously at the end. But I'm usually asleep before the opening credits theme song is over.

There are two versions of Solaris, the 2002 Hollywood remake produced by James Cameron, and the original 1972 Russian version. If you think the 2002 version is boring, you've never sat through the full-length, four-hour long Russian version. It is easily the most boring movie I have ever watched.

Antonio Banderes with his super thick hispanic accent, trying to play an Arab prince and failing horribly...

A few of the recent Marvel movies were worth sleeping through at least the first half of.

At least I don't pay to watch them.

[–] FecalDemiurge6000 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago  (edited ago)

Never pay to watch a Marvel movie. Logan was kinda good. Venom was actually not painful either. Other than that... I don't unerstand how any Marvel film has ever made a dime.

[–] QuiteEasilyAmused 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

Venom was better than I expected it to be given how awful all the new Spiderman movies have been (both with the retarded bastard child of Stallone lisping his beta way through it and the newer one with the autistic teenager being groomed for Tony's pedo fantasies).

Logan's redeeming qualities were unleashing actual adult language to make it less of a kids movie, but the ending was still disappointing.

Nope, but I did tell the Mexicunts running their mouths behind be to "SHUT THE FUCK UP" during the movie "Colors".
