They could have been much much better but they are the only movies to watch if I feel like watching someone get punched into the next state over.

I can look past a lot of things about Batman vs. Superman as just a "What if..." Alternative time line/events. All except Lex Luther, I can't think of any change of events that would explain that change. Should have gone with Riddler instead.

The only thing I didn't like was when Clark refers to his mom by the first name. The Metropolis/Gotham twin cities thing bothered me before I saw the film, but by the time I saw it, I was comfortable with the movie universe having its own unique differences from the comic universe. As for Lex, I think they were setting him up for character development. Yes, the scheme was Riddler-esque, but only a rich powerful man could have pulled it off. I think the choice to go with a Superman villain was made because this was a Man of Steel sequel. I really would have liked to have seen Zack Snyder finish JLA.
