Look this movie was beat to death...
the biggest issue I had was simply how poorly cast this shit movie was
This is Harrison Ford
Here is Princess "Cocaine Addict" Leia
Here is there "SON"
HOW IN THE FUCK DOES THAT LOOK LIKE THEIR SON????????
This entire movie was set in Science Fiction and none of it is believable! The casting is soo fucking unbelievably bad. If you have any training in body language you can tell that EVERY actor is uncomfortable. Harrison Ford is clearly on their because he was forced to be...literally the only one that had good acting was r2D2 .
If the casting is off you know that the movie will be off. It's movie cinema 101

Kylo is really the son of Luke and Leia.

Oscar Isaac was great in Ex Machina, but complete shit in Star wars and anything else I have ever seen him in.

On of my friends knew Adam...and said he was a complete red neck hick. Adam was in the military and shortly later went into acting

Here, this should clean your palate. This is the best lightsaber duel in a long, long time.

That was actually really good! I was just thinking in the beginning that it's ridiculous how long lightsaber duels go when in reality it should be over in just a few moves. I'm glad I wasn't dissapointed.
One of the shocks that I learned was that Samurai duels where generally over within 3-6 moves. Experts typically know their craft really well and so a prolonged fight simply never happens unlike what hollywood likes to project

That was one of the greatest Star Wars scenes of all time. There is so much nuance in it and I hope others in Disney take notice. Kenobi switches his stance to that of his late master Qui Gon Jinn. As Maul tries the same move that killed his master Ben counters and catches him as he falls. Such a great and fitting closure of Maul's character arc.
Now that TLJ ruined any idea of the "chosen one" who knows where SW goes from here. Fucking faggots.

I thought Mark Hamill’s performance was tolerable.

I agree in the miscast.
OT - The worst ever miscasting in movies was big cinder block headed, black haired, thick wristed James Garner as the old version of thin, long head/faced, blonde, petite wristed Ryan Gosling. I mean they aren't even in the same ballpark. (The Notebook)

It's the Jet Black Hair that is a dead give away. I actually am not that bothered by the nose (it could have been broken in a fight hence why it's so fucked up) it's just the a-symmetry in the rest of the face that has no resemblance...to a human....

Harrison's leg was broken on set because of faulty/unsafe equipment. It's understandable why his contempt for the movie might have come across in his acting.

Something came across alight...
Edit: I thought his leg broke because of a plane crash shortly before filming.
