Of course, Weisz is married to our current James Bond

Fuck them for this caveat. They're downplaying an excellent point that she had made.

But the again, what do you expect from unoriginal people.

[–] GoatEmperorTrump 0 points 19 points (+19|-0) ago  (edited ago)

I don't see what that has to do with anything.

Meanwhile, they tried "Jane Bond" three ways from Sunday already, but no one gives a shit because no one wants to see female spies acting like they can take out 6'5" 230 lb dudes. It is bullshit and we all know it.

They tried it with Salt (meh, ok movie but only because Jolie is hot and Liev Schrieber is stone cold actor), they tried it with Atomic Blonde, still meh, no one gives a shit about trying to make women into men, it isnt sexy, it isnt hot, it is lame.

I do not know for certain, but I am willing to bet in real life, most successful female spies infiltrate and get secrets lying on their backs and getting fucked by every male power broker out there, not by infiltrating compounds and assassinating enemies. What, no one wants to see a movie about a female spy who is basically a glorified whore? You don't say...

Just remember, that first scene of The Avengers with the Black Widow features a stunt man in a dress, because a woman was not physically capable of doing some of those moves.

Speak for yourself, bucko. I see a huge potential in that idea. Character development, exploration of why humans value intimacy vs sex, philosophy, action, and most importantly the fact that it hasn't already been done to death. These things would make it better than a generic Bond film even if the protagonist were a dude. The extra nudity and sex is just icing on the cake. Not that I want Hollywood to make it, they would inevitably turn it into the SCUM Manifesto.

[–] 22jam22 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

Her fucking the french girl spy was something that no bond film could make sexy ever.. Gay bond scene would never work so can we all agree atomic blond sex scene was pretty damn nice.

[–] philomath 1 points 1 points (+2|-1) ago

I'm happy that I've never hear of the two movies you mention.

Rachel Weisz Warns Against Female James Bond Movie, says 'Women Should Get Their Own Stories"

Don't worry Rachel. We have your own story right here!

[–] ThirteenthZodiac 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

...that's a rusty, misshapen thing you've shared, friend.

[–] zbou 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

That was the craziest fucking thing I've ever read

[–] torhent 0 points 31 points (+31|-0) ago

As a policy I refuse to watch gender and race swapped movies. It is a ploy to get views from people with low IQ's who have no love for the original content. The movie tends to pander to SJW mouth breathers and shit on the prior work infuriating the fan base. Movie Critics are shear and utter cowards and lie about the reviews for said gender/race swapped movies because they don't have the guts to state the truth and deal with complaints from SJW's.

[–] NoisyCricket 0 points 6 points (+6|-0) ago  (edited ago)

Movie critics are frequently paid to favorably review content. Additionally those who crap on movies are denied previews and/or face repercussions from their employers who in turn are facing unhappy studios. This is why, for example, user reviews of Black Panther are basically terrible but critic reviews are 100% (ya, saw the change). Any honest person will tell you it's a terrible fucking movie. But those who are within the ecosystem are bought and sold or forced to maintain the ecosystem and its echo chamber. Same thing with Ghost Busters. So on and so on.

Edit: auto-correct fucked me

[–] torhent 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

Black Panther is at 97% on RT. It isn't out yet so there are no customer reviews. I'm waiting for customer reviews. Seeing as its probably going to be carpet bombed, if it breaks 80% customer reviews after two weeks of release, I'll probably check it out. But frankly, I'm expecting it to be at 50% and it will be a waste. But wait and see.

Last I heard Rotten Tomatoes disabled negative reviews for "planet of the apes: supremacy"

[–] killercanuck 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

They should do a Thelma and Louise about two divorce raped men that never got to live.

[–] unclejimbo 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

They do this so that fans of the originals get mad, then they can market the movie as "controversial" and the proles will buy tickets by the handful.

[–] patriot_biz 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

Underrated comment of the week. Liberals are frequently surprised at how little people on the alt-right hate minorities or gays.

[–] King_Freya 0 points 14 points (+14|-0) ago

This is what I don’t get about the left. Why do they feel compelled to take existing material and revamp it entirely? The did the same thing with wanting to make Spider-Man gay or bi or black. Like why? Why not just make a new hero? Overwatch did it just fine. Plenty of MOBA’s do it just fine. Mobile games do it just fine. The most popular of them all are always received well and they’re not over the top stereotypes either. But when the left pushes a narrative, it has to be the extreme. So fucking dumb. Absolutes on either side are always bad.

[–] tholinz 0 points 9 points (+9|-0) ago

Because they a) are incapable of creating new things that would appeal to groups of people, b) understand that they are incapable of creating new and appealing things, c) want to push their agenda to the largest group possible, and d) are lazy. Therefore, co-opting existing properties to push their politics is the best way to go to get what they want.

[–] NoisyCricket 0 points 6 points (+6|-0) ago  (edited ago)

Why do they feel compelled to take existing material and revamp it entirely?

Because it has a pre-existing audience. They know that their message will be rejected on its own merits. Because their message is racist and completely without merit. By stealing an audience they can then claim that it has been rejected solely on the basis of racism and hate and not because its artistically terrible. You see, simply attaching a brand always ensures its artistic integrity - cough. You see, people loved it and the only thing we changed is race and/or sex and/or writers and/or motivation and/or everything which was the brand, for the sole purpose of racism and sexism, therefore to reject it means YOU'RE racists/sexist and not the racist/sexist pushing of the propaganda. There are no exceptions to this rule.

Then there is Orwell's message which has a huge impact on culture and society:

“The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history.” ― George Orwell

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.” ― George Orwell, 1984

[–] nu111 0 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago

This way they get to take something from us.

[–] neogag 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

Exactly this. It's deeper than it looks, too. They take pleasure in abolishing merit-based anything and redistributing it (regardless of whether they realize how communist this is, as many useful idiots don't).

[–] Alopix 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

You're failing to see it in the correct frame. They're not thinking about it like that at all. They don't want new women heroes. They first and foremost want no white, straight, or male heroes. It's not about women. It's never been about women. It's about emasculating men and seeding anomie in whites.

[–] Alhambra 0 points 6 points (+6|-0) ago

well if they want accuracy, 2018 James Bond should be played by a eunuch who actively works to sabotage his own country and flood it with hostile foreigners.

[–] capcapcap 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

Played by british muslim woman wearing a hijab infiltrating anti immigration groups and single handedly killing them all just by using her fists and woman smarts.

[–] Alopix 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

Aw, that's cute, she still thinks feminism is about women

[–] A_M_Swallow 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

Find a series of books, comics or video games that has had a successful female spy. Make that into a film.

Any suggestions?

[–] Son_Of_Hate 0 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago

Carmen Sandiego. No shit, I would actually watch that. Make it a kid-friendly action movie, where all of the dialogue is about history and geography. Basically the 3 trials from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, but for an entire movie

[–] A_M_Swallow 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

It appears Netflix agrees with you. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carmen_Sandiego_(TV_series)

Danger Girl.

It even gives them the opportunity to say, "We took the sexuality of the character and turned it into her owning it. It's a part of who she is and she's proud of it. She uses her attractiveness to dispel social preconceptions."

(((Rachel Hannah Weisz)))

"Her parents left for the United Kingdom around 1938, before the outbreak of the Second World War, to escape the Nazis."

Her early life wiki is written like one giant annudah shoa.

Fuck this rotten kike spreading her talmudic filth.
